One afternoon, I stumbled upon my mom’s ancient recipe for her legendary Homemade BBQ sauce. Having a craving for some of that finger-lickin’ goodness I grew up with, I gathered the essentials along with a taste of nostalgia, a pinch of determination, and a whole lot of love. The kitchen turns into a culinary battlefield with the aroma of simmering spices filling the air, creating a symphony of scents that takes me straight back to family cookouts and backyard bashes.

I’m sure everyone has their version of homemade BBQ sauce but I wanted to share mine.

I use this for everything from chicken, to grilled meats (think kebobs), burgers and hotdogs, wings, sandwich sauce, pizza (yes pizza), as a dip and BBQ Pork ribs. Remember, this sauce isn’t just a condiment; it’s a flavor enhancer, a taste bud revolution.

While I’m not too crazy over the sauce on seafood except shrimp, my sister has made some and she swears (believe it or not), that this sauce works wonders with grilled or baked seafood. Try it on shrimp (of course), salmon, or even lobster for a taste bud voyage says she… not me.
